Finding the right tool
I specialize in finding the right tool for the job, usually with some Open Source and Free Software involvement. I have invented or developed some custom solutions for Property Registries in Spain, and developed a CRM/Document Repository hybrid within SugarCRM that allows Spanish lawyers to work from home. Ok, ok, yes, my wife is a lawyer ;).
Websites and webapps
I like working as a freelance and making websites and webapps with Ruby On Rails, Joomla and WordPress, for fun and profit.

Also, I have some Windows, Linux and Mac OSX sysadmin experience and tools under my belt; and have Ubuntu, Mac OSX Snow Leopard and Windows 2003–2008 servers in production environments. I am a firm believer in “The Full Backup Religion”. She will come to save us all.
Force DBA == yes.
I have a brief knowledge of MySQL and Oracle 1o databases and have worked with EMC Documentum in production environments.
